Volunteer Recognition Policy was adopted by Council on November 9, 2009. 

Volunteers are an asset to the community, and Council of the Corporation of the Township of Southwold is proud to offer recognition for outstanding citizens in our township.  The Township of Southwold Volunteer Service, Distinguished Citizen and Mayor's Prestigious Awards recognize and honour Township of Southwold residents who have contributed in an extraordinary way to their community or the municipality as a whole. 

Nominations will be accepted from the public until end of business day on March 31, 2010.  Nomination Forms are available in the Township office.
